i was at a family reunion at bonnieville mill today. i set out on the paths to find myself in dragonfly heaven!
nature was calling to me and i could hear it's music!
i was looking down but yet i was looking up
some might find this ugly but only if they really knew what true beauty was
........ i have more to come later
Wonderful photos...
ReplyDeleteDid you use a macro on the dragonfly shots?

Hey Shoes
ReplyDeleteI hope your weekend is going well.
My camera is a canon powershot sx120 with 10 megapixel and 10 optical zoom that goes up to 40. I wish I had a camera with a really nice macro lens. This camera has been a really nice starter camera for me but I'm looking to find me a camera that I can buy different lens
Your photos are quite wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYour camera sounds a great deal like my Olympus... its abilities far exceed my skill level!
Ha!
I hope you are having a great day!

I love the photos. And the music. I suppose the green is ugly... but isn't that just natural "pond scum?" And doesn't it feed lots of butterfly and dragonfly type critters?
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying being wherever it is back east that you are.
(And thanks for your comment. In light of my butterflies, it's especially cool to see your pics.)
Hi Jeanettee
DeleteIt's actually called duck weed. I'm sure it's good food source for bugs and fish. If you look close they are small tiny pods. But at a glance you would think it was algae
the last shots are especially wonderful, liz. something wonderful happens when we stop and pay attention, doesn't it? gifts abound.
ReplyDelete(have a good trip.)

Thanks Erin.
DeleteI would love to see the last photos done as a painting.
