a day spent in the fields of grapes
I got the opportunity yesterday to go on a wine tasting tour. Through out Michigan, winery's are plentiful for those who love wine. I will admit I'm not much of a wine drinker but one can not resist the atmosphere these places have. With the fall weather at it's best and to sit outside with your wine admiring the country side filled with grapes,it certainly draws you in.

Love the grape orchards in Michigan. I travel up there along with my wife and two miniature poodles quite often. Were in New Buffalo all day yesterday.
ReplyDeleteLove Michigan, its rolling green hills, the lake and lakes, the little resorts up and down Lake Michigan. We love wine
Gracias for sharing mi amiga. Looking forward to seeing your pics and reading your words
Hello Marcoantonio
Deletethanks for stopping in. I agree Michigan has a lot of amazing lakes and little towns. We was at the vineyards in Berrien Springs area.
Have you and your wife visited any of the wineries in that area?
Wine per se is not appealing; but, pair it with food, and both the food and the wine pick up flavors from each other, and the experience is enhanced! My dad was a winemaker, grew all his grapes, and could tell you how one little change, such as growing fennel nearby would change the flavor of that wine. I've come to appreciate a great glass of wine with a fantastic meal.
ReplyDeleteHello Rosaria,
DeleteYes it's amazing how the taste is so different with food and how growing them near other things will change the flavor in them.
it's always nice to have you here. I hope you are enjoying your fall right now.
