Mr Hanna

I'm not sure about any other student but I enjoyed having Mr Hanna as a teacher. I do not think I will stay blogging after this class. I'm more a messageboard person but I do love being on the internet.

not being able to comment on blogs at school

Sorry but I could not comment on peoples blogs again due to something at right with the computers there and this site. I think it might have to do with what kind of commenting style people chose. There was different commenting styles to choose from when you set your blog up. I think the only one that works at school is the one called full view page. So since I could not post comments yesterday I'm playing catch up today and commenting on 6 blogs.

next class

My nerves are running a little high right now about my next class. My next class is medical terminalogy. I'm glad I have a friend going in this class with me.

Well I should have known my boss would do this. The line didn't do so good on Saturday and also some people decided not to show so that didn't make him happy. So this morning he said if you haven't put in for a vacation day before this morning then don't bother. He's not granting any vacation days until we get our acts together. Great I was wanting to take a week off in mid Oct. Now I can't because of this. Not happy right now.

Its Constitution Day!!

did you know it was Constitution Day? Sorry I'm not sure we was told this one back in school.

one more week of this!

I could cheer about the fact we only have one more week of Comp 1 but then it hit me why cheer. I still have to take Comp 2!!! Not sure when i'll be taking that one but I guess all I can do is take one day at a time. Still have to comment on 3 people before I can leave. I'm not sure if I blogged yesterday. I'm to tired to care

learning to volunteer is so rewarding

Every one should do this. Volunteer to helping others. I have volunteered for different things. My first time was for LoveWay. It's a place where people with disabilities can go and ride horses. You can volunteer your time there to help them learn to care for the horse and even try to saddle the horse. You are with some one from begining to end. I have also help with raising money for a foundation. We sold cookbooks and held auctions. I also have volunteer for Wrapping for Inclusion. This is a way to raise money for a foundation. You go to a store before Christmas and wrap people items for a donation. I enjoyed doing that one.
I just feel it's important to give some of your time for those who need help.

"Real" blog

I'm blogging about a blog that is written by Bob Boilen on http://www.npr.org/blogs/allsongs/
called" All songs considered." His blogs so far have been interesting to read. He seems to be open minded about listening to a wide varity of music. Not just past music but todays music also. I'm a person who likes someone who is not one sided when it comes to music. His last blog was a simple blog. He was ask to remember 50 shows he's been to ,and not ones that his job required him to see. Wow I would love to have seen as many shows as he has. His list had some well known groups but for the most part it had groups that i have never heard of. I am one who is opened minded and wish I had more time to listen to groups that are not on the top 40. It's hard to imagine how many artist are out there,and that's not just the artist in the USA.
My hat goes out to Bob for having the pleasure of listening to a wide variety of artist. I plan to read more of his blogs and recommend those who like music read his blog also.
