OMG, I am going to crucify myself here...and become a hypocrite at the same time, because I love me some Rock n Roll....but it just seems like it's more show than talent. It's more polish than quality. I don't know. I can't play an instrument past the third grade level, so what do I know. But when you put a pure vocalist alongside a piano or a guitar...no show, no pyrotechnics, no chest hair...well, there is no hiding.
I agree Annie I never heard them sing live until these videos. I like the song when I heard it on the album but that's because they probably tweeted it. But then again 80's heavy metal bands where mostly all show and less talent. That's probably why they never made it big.
Ha! Steven do you have any video of when you was in a band? I would love to see it.
I know that is mostly the kind of music I listen to back then but can agree with Annie now about there is no hiding when an artist just sings with just a piano or a guitar.
